I want people to remember the role of a city council member. I’m running to represent the voice of our residents and specifically to make sure that the large construction projects that are coming to Montebello are done right and in the benefit of the community. I advocate for working families and a safe community.
This is why I am proud to be officially endorsed by our LOCAL police department, labor unions, the Mayor and other LOCAL elected officials. This is a LOCAL campaign and we need leaders who are focused on our LOCAL issues and not distracted by political ties, agendas or national issues.
I know how local government works, because For the past 15 years I have worked with governments at all levels; from Mayors to Presidents. My experience in infrastructure building, economic growth and social development is what I have to offer our city.
I am a Montebello resident, a business owner, a granddaughter of immigrants, a woman of God, a friend and most importantly, a mother. If I want to see effective leadership and a better community for my daughter and for us all, then the change starts here and now; and what better place to start than here, in my own community.
